I took my daughter to Dr. Shippy for severe neck pain. He was very professional and did a thorough exam including xrays. He was very proficient with spinal adjustments. He also didn't hard sell a cookie cutter care plan as many chiropractors do. I have worked with quite a few local chiropractors since the late 90s, and I'm an advanced practice health care provider myself. I highly recommend Sensoria Chiropractic.
Dr. Shippy is great, he is knowledgeable & very professional! Yesterday was my 1st chiropractic appointment since 2020. After years of nursing my baby & going through the whole infant- toddler faze with my daughter had put my body out of alignment. As a yoga teacher I do many poses to help my alignment, but no pose could EVER do what Dr. Shippy was able to do. My right shoulder was higher than my left, causing jaw, neck, and shoulder discomfort. As well as my mid to lower back. Today I feel I have a better range of motion and am shifting in my seat less often. I can’t wait to come back to help my tilted pelvis. ( also the office is super sophisticated, I love the mood and furniture)
I was searching for an animal chiropractor for my 8yo doberman Luka. He was suffering from some kind of trauma to his neck and I was hoping Dr Shippy could help him. The first couple of times Luka was very nervous, as he had never had any spinal adjustments. Dr Shippy was very kind and VERY patient with him. His 3rd adjustment went very well and Luka has gone from a dog in a lot of pain, to a dog that can now play with his ‘siblings’ without fear of getting hurt. It’s been nothing short of a miracle for Luka, and I thank God I found a wonderful Dr for him. Dr Shippy genuinely cares for animals, you can clearly see that in how he treats them. I highly recommend Dr. Shippy to anyone looking for an excellent chiropractor. When I first came to his office I was dealing with significant pain and very limited mobility. Something as simple as going down the stairs was extremely difficult for me. After working with Dr. Shippy my pain has decreased dramatically and my mobility has improved so much that I can now go down the stairs without any issues. I am even starting to get back into my exercise routine.<br><br>One thing that really stands out is how thorough and attentive he is. His intake process is very detailed and he spends real time understanding what is going on with your body. Unlike some places where you walk in, get a quick adjustment, and are out the door within a minute, Dr. Shippy truly takes the time to ask how you are doing and evaluate what actually needs attention that day.<br><br>He also offers a variety of treatments including laser therapy and a decompression machine, which makes a big difference in the level of care you receive. Every adjustment feels very intentional and purposeful. He is very intuitive and does not just adjust for the sake of adjusting.<br><br>Dr. Shippy is incredibly patient, professional, and accommodating with scheduling. His office has a welcoming and positive environment that makes every visit a great experience. Dr. Shippy was super thorough, patient with my many questions, and informative. In just my first visit, I learned so much about my body I never knew and he taught me so many functional tips and little lifestyle changes to help alleviate my health problems. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was nervous going in pregnant in my third trimester, but he had a very comforting and calming presence. After the adjustment, I immediately felt baby descending into a better position and was relieved of my SI joint pain. For the first time in a long time, I slept soundly through the night like a baby and did not even have to get up once to pee which is a rare thing in my pregnancy! I also appreciated that he took the time to follow up with me after my appointment to make sure I was doing good and taken care of. His front office receptionist Melody also made me feel right at home. I also liked that they seemed to have affordable rates and options compared to other offices I looked into and was not pressured into any long term contracts that would cost me an arm and a leg.

I reached out to Dr. Shippy for animal chiropractic. My cat was having issues not tucking her tail when using the litter box--which was causing a cleanup challenge for me. Dr. Shippy took x-rays and found degeneration in her discs at the junction of her sacrum and tail. He followed up with an adjustment. His calm nature and terrific way with animals allowed my cat to feel relaxed. She did great with the treatment and slept in my lap the rest of the night. We are still early in the treatment process. I'm looking forward to continuing to troubleshoot this with Dr. Shippy. Highly recommend.

I have had a great experience with Dr Shippy. Has taken me from being fearful of visiting a chiropractor to seeing him twice a week. I am seeing marked improvement with pain in my hands. I actually may be able to avoid surgery because of his treatment. My neck has hurt me nearly every day for as long as I can remember. Now I am soooo much better . Dr. Alex Shippy is a wonderful chiropractor and his office so clean and well thought out.<br><br>He also does chiropractic work on pets like dogs and other animals.<br><br>I'll admit to not being 100% sure that chiropractic work was for me, but after a few months, it's been easier and easier to maintain good posture after a lifetime of slouching and crouching.<br><br>Maybe more importantly, as someone who has played sports well past when he probably should have, I've been concerned with my spine for years (after an injury I had when I was younger) and afraid of what an expert might say. On my very first visit, Dr. Shippy quickly x-rayed my spine and found that everything was okay. It was nice to receive a diagnosis so quickly.<br><br>Super professional, precise, talented, and very polite. Highly reccommend!

I can’t thank Dr. Alex Shippy enough! I went to him after waking up on a Saturday with extreme wrist pain caused by my job and a chronic Carpal Tunnel Syndrome issue I’ve been battling for a while. I could barely make a fist, bend my wrist, or even pick up small objects.<br><br>Thankfully, I found that Dr. Shippy’s office was open on Saturdays, and I was able to quickly book an appointment online.<br><br>Dr. Shippy gave me a thorough examination, performed a few adjustments, and provided clear recommendations to manage the pain and swelling in my wrist. I followed his advice, and by Sunday morning, I woke up with no pain. I was almost 100% better!
